Mary Riglioni Hileman - Class of 1968

    Mary Riglioni Hileman, 73, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by her loving and cherished family. Mary was born on September 13, 1948, in Newburg, NY, a daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Smith) Riglioni, Sr. She graduated from Newburg Free Academy. Mary relocated to Schenectady in 1989 with her young family. She worked locally at the Price Chopper and area restaurants but mostly was a stay-at-home mom to her 5 children. Mary loved her children and was the go-to babysitter for her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, loving sister, and aunt. Mary always put others before herself; she lived by the motto of family first. She enjoyed video games, watching her TV programs, and staying in touch with family and friends on Facebook. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward Riglioni, Jr., Jessie Riglioni, Sr., and Julius Riglioni, Sr. Mary is survived by her children, whom she loved so dearly, Amanda Riglioni, Richard Hileman, Jr., Robert Riglioni, James Hileman, and Ashley Hileman; her sister, Rose (Washington) Riglioni; 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services will be held on Thursday a 1 pm at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union Street. Interment will follow in Park View Cemetery. Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Rossi & Ditoro Funeral Home on Thursday from 10 am to 1 pm.
