Edward “Junie” Vesely Jr., 77, of New Windsor, New York passed away on
Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in Westchester, NY. The son of the late Edward Vesely
Sr. and Genevieve (Jagodzrinsky) Vesely he was born on September 25, 1944 in
Newburgh. Edward was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, and worked as a truck
driver for Cintas Company. He was a loving husband, father and brother, and a
real people person who made many friends in his lifetime. We will miss our
“Candy Man” daily but remember his generosity forever. He is survived by his
loving wife, Francis (Duda) Vesely; children, Paul Vesey and his wife Trisha and
Jonathan Vesely and his wife Missy; his sister Valerie Staples of Rotona, West
FL; grandchildren: Elizabeth and Kevin McGinty, Samantha Vesely, Johnathan
Vesely Jr. and Tyler Vesely; and nieces and nephews: Lisa Odom, Salvatore
Carfora, Arianne Lake, Nathan Vesely, Darren Staples, Craig Staples and Hamilton
Staples. He was predeceased by his nephew Lee Cone, his sister Geraldine Carfora,
and brother Eugene Vesely. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, March 23 at Saint Francis Cemetery in New Windsor. - September 25,
