Gilbert J. Lester Sr., 87 of Rock Tavern, NY passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022. The son of the late John and Margaret (Hawver) Lester, he was born in Newburgh, New York on September 26, 1934. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, NY. A service will take place on Monday, April 4 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with entombment following in Cedar Hill Mausoleum.
