Toniann Loparco Shepardson, of Myrtle Beach, SC and formerly of Newburgh, NY, entered into rest on Saturday, March 19, 2022 in Myrtle Beach SC. She was 65. Daughter of the late Roger and Madeline (Cerone) Loparco, she was born on February 19, 1957 in Newburgh. Toniann was a 1974 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. She worked at the United States Military Academy in the Directorate of Logistics for 33 years, and retired in 2012. She was also union steward for the AFGE Local 2367. On August 15, 2003 she married Terry Shepardson of Wisconsin whom survives her. In addition to her husband Terry, Toni is survived by stepdaughter Laura Tilander , stepgrandson, Ian Gillzter both of Wisconsin. Nieces Lori (Grieco) Ostrander and husband Kevin of Wallkill, Dawn Grieco and boyfriend Ed Berghauer of Newburgh, and Susan (Brichter) Grieco. Great nieces, Lindsay (Grieco) Fischer and husband, Daniel of Pleasant Valley, Haley Grieco and boyfriend Dave Winderbaum of Newburgh, and Mikayla Grieco of Newburgh and great-great nephew Michael Fischer of Pleasant Valley. Toni was predeceased by her sister Julia (Loparco) Grieco, brother in law Dominick Grieco and nephew Michael D Grieco II. On behalf of the family we would like to give our heartfelt thanks to her long time friend Tracey Scott of Newburgh and neighbor Jess Linton of Myrtle Beach, SC.
