Ezekiel Austin Marin, of Newburgh, entered into rest, on Sunday, April, 10, 2022, after a tragic automobile accident. He was 18. The son of Misael Marin Reyes and Erendira Lezama Ramirez, he was born on July 22, 2003 in Newburgh. Ezekiel was a student attending Orange County Community College with aspirations for a Business Management Degree. A 2021 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. Strong in his faith he loved to talk about the bible and was Baptized in April, 2021. He had a love for reading, especially newspapers and enjoyed drafting ideas for the progress of his community. He was always worried about the wellbeing of his elders and often asked them for feedback on his ideas of a better future for the community. He had a profound love for nature, the preservation of antiques and history. In addition to his parents he is survived by his grandmother, Francisca Reyes, a brother, Joahan Elias Marin and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation for family and friends will be held at The Church of the Living God, Column and Support of the Truth. (The Good Pastor), 13 Meadow Hill Road, Newburgh, NY, on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place 11:00 am, Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Church. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.
