I had checked into the 31st MEU on Okinawa. I met Timothy and we worked together for a week. Me, him and another Marine went out exploring the island on Friday night. While driving around I notice Timothy had a KJV bible in his car, and he told me he was looking for a church. I invited him to my church and he accepted. Saturday morning Timothy dropped me off on base, he and the Marine went to the Lighthouse as we called it. Sunday morning came, and I went to Timothy's room, knocked on his door. No answer. When I came back from church walking up to my room, our Sgt stopped me and said the unform is Charlies. I looked at him confused. The Sgt said "Oh you did not hear." Then the Sgt proceeded to tell me what happened to Timothy. I never got to know Timothy but only for 5 days. I hung out with him the night and morning just minutes to hours before the accident. He was an outgoing good hearted guy and would have loved for him to have went to church with me. If anybody from the family would like to contact me, please email. I can tell all that I know. In Jesus Name!!!!
