    Mary L. Richards Cullingham age 74, of Marlboro, New York, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 following a short illness. Mary was born on October 27, 1947 in Newburgh, NY to Lewis Richards and Harriet (Roe). Mary graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in 1965 and attended Orange County Community College. Mary retired as an Administrative Assistant from MVP Healthcare. Mary enjoyed spending time with friends and family but most of all with her daughter and grandchildren. They traveled together often and you would find her winning trivia wherever she went. Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed reading while spending time with her cat Chloe. Mary traveled the world while married to her former spouse, Russell. Mary is survived by her daughter Lisa Repke of Marlboro and her two beloved grandchildren, Jacob and Emma. She is also survived by her sister, Kathleen Blohm and her husband Karl of Inverness, Florida. Mary also leaves behind an aunt, uncle, nephew, several loving cousins and many special friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Lewis and Harriet.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 5 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY. A prayer service will be held following the visitation. Mary's final resting place will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh, NY with an Inurnment Ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties (Hospice of Orange & Sullivan | Donate Now - Hospice of Orange & Sullivan) or the Mid-Hudson Animal Aid (Donate - Mid Hudson Animal Aid).
