John V. Marullo Jr. of New Windsor, NY, born Sept. 30, 1932, was called to eternal rest on June 5, 2022. He was the son of the late Julia (Sylvester) Treen and John V. Marullo Sr. John Jr. was a long-time member of the New Windsor Fire Department and a Member of the American Legion Post 1796, in New Windsor, NY. He was retired from the Laborer's Local 17 and served 10 years in the National Guard. He was an avid outdoorsman, and a devout conservationist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. "John never met a trout that didn't have his name on it". John met his life partner and wife Kathy; they enjoyed many years of traveling together through Europe and the United States. John was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His memory will be cherished by his beloved wife Kathleen (Cassie), his sons John V Marullo and his wife Linda, Michael Trotta, and Christopher Trotta; granddaughters Christina Marullo, Alaxandra Marullo and Brittany Lyons and husband Nigel; great-grandchildren Lorenzo and Zahara; sisters Ann Hellyer and Louise Nickerson, and nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was predeceased by his former wife Elizabeth (Jett) Marullo, sister Elizabeth Treen and brother Richard Marullo. We all will love him forever...
Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home, Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with service following at 1:00 pm. John will be laid to rest at the St Francis Cemetery, New Windsor, NY 12533.
