John Hicks - Class of 1982

John G. Hicks, of Newburgh, entered into rest on Tuesday,
June 21, 2022. He was 58.
Son of Carolann (Grada) Hicks and the late Ronnie Hicks, he
was born on February 4, 1964 in Chicago, IL.
A longtime area resident John was an automotive mechanic for
Healey Brothers, Beacon. He was also a committed Hudson
Valley SPCA Humane Law Enforcement Officer. A devoted family
man who took great pride in his profession, John was an avid
golfer and a fan of the Giants, Yankees and NASCAR.
Survivors include his loving wife Jill A. Hicks, his mother
Carolann Hicks of New Windsor, his daughter Alyssa Hicks and
her partner Scott Haugland of Newburgh a sister Rhonda Hicks
of North Port, FL and sister-in-laws Jann Hecht(Eugene) of
Wallkill, Dana Romer(Rick Kornfeld) of Wallkill, Lynn
Pierson(Dan Moulton) of Rocky Point, NC and nephews, Mickey
Yannone, RJ Hicks, Douglas Romer and Ander and Kohl Pierson.
Also several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2:00 pm to 5:00
pm, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at White, Venuto and Morrill
Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh,
NY 12550. - February 4, 1964 - June 21, 2022
A Service will follow at 5:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
