Edward "Eddie" Carl Ardizzone - Class of 1970

    Edward "Eddie" Carl Ardizzone, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 17, 2022 at his home. He was born September 12, 1952 in Newburgh, New York to the late Louis Joseph Ardizzone and Dorothy Ann Ferris Ardizzone and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy. He worked as a buyer with IBM in New York for over 18 years. Eddie and his family relocated to Zebulon in 1994 where he later founded the former Hound Dog Café. He has been retired since 2012. He is survived by his wife, Susan Dickson Ardizzone; daughter, Nicole Christine Ardizzone; brother, John Ardizzone (Gale); brother-in-law: Bill Dickson, Jr. (Karren); sisters-in-law: Patti D. Hildreth (Chip), Pam D. Agee; his special pets: Lexi and Wilson; and his grand dog, Bella. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons: Joseph €œJoey€ Louis Ardizzone in 2013 and Vincent €œVinnie€ Edward Ardizzone in 2019. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 6:00 pm, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to your local SPCA. - September 12, 1952 - June 17, 2022

  Joseph Louis "Joey" Ardizzone, 25, of 3700 Cassaro Lane passed away suddenly in Portsmouth, VA on May 30, 2013. Joseph was born January 21, 1988 in Poughkeepsie, NY to Edward Carl Ardizzone and Susan Dickson Ardizzone. He was employed as an installer/technician with Atlas Signs of Morrisville. Joey's passion was his dog "Lexi" and riding and rebuilding motorcycles. Funeral Service: 6:30 pm, Monday, June 3, 2013 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 Joey's family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Surviving: Parents: Edward and Susan Ardizzone Brother: Vincent Edward "Vinnie" Ardizzone Sister: Nicole Christine Ardizzone all of Zebulon Maternal Grandparents: Martha R. and William B. Vincent “Vinnie” Edward Ardizzone, 28, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 after a tragic motorbike accident. He was born March 8, 1991 in Poughkeepsie, NY to Edward Carl Ardizzone and Susan Dickson Ardizzone. He was a graduate of East Wake High School in 2009. Vinnie was employed as a plumber with Zebulon Plumbing. Memorial service 6:00 pm, Friday, July 5, 2019 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale 27545. Vinnie’s family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. In addition to his parents, Vinnie is survived by sister, Nicole Christine Ardizzone; maternal grandparents: Martha R. and William B. Dickson, Sr.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Vinnie was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Louis “Joey” Ardizzone. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA of Wake County, 200 Petfinder Way, Raleigh, NC 27603. - March 8, 1991 ~ June 29, 2019 (age 28)
