Rosalie Butwell Nogay - Class of 1958
Rosalie was a woman of faith who loved her family and cherished her long term friendship with Nancy Barton, together leading the Girl Scout Troop at St. Francis School for many years. Rosalie is survived by her children Marie Nogay, Michael Nogay, Patrick & Susan Nogay, Christopher Nogay and Jeanne & Dan Maltes, grandchildren Amanda & Daniel Carey, Andrew Nogay, James Maltes and Catrina Maltes. She is also survived by her siblings Joseph & Arlene Butwell, Carol Striano and Nan Heter, brothers-in-law Michael Lanspery and Bernard Bush, and dear sister-in-law Dawn Nogay and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved. We would like to thank Rosalie's friends, neighbors and staff at Rocky Point Senior Housing in Washingtonville, NY for making her feel at home the past few years. She was predeceased by her son Frankie Nogay, husband Frank Nogay, brothers Paul, Gerome, John and sisters Audrey, Jeanne and Mary.

Rosalie C. Butwell Nogay, 82, of Newburgh, NY, passed away on June 26, 2022 after a short illness. Rosalie was born on February 4, 1940 to Paul and Anna Butwell in Newburgh. After graduating from Newburgh Free Academy, Rosalie met and married Frank Nogay. Together they had six children. Rosalie retired from Shop Rite. During her Shop Rite years, she decided to go back to college and graduated from Orange County Community College as a Registered Nurse. She also worked part time at St Luke's Hospital and Sylcox Nursing Home.
