Jeffrey W. McQuiston, a lifelong area resident, entered into rest on July 1, 2022 at Sapphire Nursing and Rehab, Newburgh. Jeff was familiar with the staff at Meadow Hill because I work there. He would visit in his truck full of hay. the staff and residents would tell me, Debbie, Jeff's truck is here and he has Hay! When I was not able to safely care for Jeff at home, the staff told me to bring Jeff to the facility so that I could rest and he could receive professional care. It was easy for him to accept the plan as it was with his friends. Thank you for all the staff at Meadow Hill Sapphire. His boy, Texas (CURTIS), Shellie, Hope, Maria, Jean, his special visitors, Dr. Jai, Dr. Rizvi, Dr. Waheed, The Oncology Team, for the care and love, Castle Point VA for approving his care at VBH. A special thanks for prior staff at Meadow Hill, Bobby, and present staff, Tzvi, and Joseph. Thank you Carly, Aledina, and Kendall for holding my hand until I went to sleep. Rosanna, and Evelyn and Dr. Oltean. Jeff would tell me the handsome Doctor was in today. Vera McQuiston-Cawein, his mother, a strong, independent, Irish lady. Jeff adores his mother and family. His stories of hanging Rachel and Michelle on a hook while they had there overall on, so that they could swing, still leaves me thinking. Perhaps the reason why God decided, 'NO CHILDREN FOR JEFF'. Thank you Jeff Martin, Patty, and Jeff, jr. (the Kid) for stopping by and being my best friend. For Alexandria Webster and Xavier Jimenez, take care of your mom, even when she says, "I do not need anyone to care for me". As Jeff would say: SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL FARMER, IT IS NOT EASY WORK, WE DO IT FOR THE LOVE OF FARMING AND FAMILY. Thank you Pastor Phil, for your spiritual guidance to a man that made it complicated to learn. Your last visit, put it in perspective for me. For Paul and the boys, thank you for helping me reach 100 percent with the Bee Hives. You guys are what family unity is. Jeff, I promise to continue your plans. Even at rest, you have me working. I adore you Babe. I am at peace because now you are in Heaven. Please do not speak about Politics Jeffrey! He would say my mother is the only one that can call me Jeffrey. You can stop working now Jeff, enjoy your new life. Until I see you again. - April 12, 1956 ~ July 1, 2022
