Gayle
Elizabeth Mills Vadala - Class of 1971
- 1953 ~ 2022 (age 69) On Tuesday, August 30th, 2022 - Gayle was laid to rest
after a beautiful life surrounded by those she loved. She was so incredibly
special and will be missed beyond measure; a contagious spirit with a voice
nearly as beautiful as her smile. She was the very definition of optimism, and a
supreme example of a life defined by faith & unconditional love. A force that
could convince you of your own limitless potential, just by how deeply she
listened to your every word. She was a prolific reader with an endless sense of
curiosity for new and exciting inspirations. She spoke with immaculate
articulation and danced through coffee-fueled conversations with effortless
grace and charm. She possessed an ever expanding sense of compassion. Her
delicate beauty was fortified by her courage, perseverance, and unbreakable
spirit. She fought with the power of ten thousand strong to extend her time here
in the presence of all she loved. She lived for her faith, family, and friends
above all things. It would be impossible to list the names of those she graced
with her love and considered family. She is survived by her adoring husband of
48 years, Joseph, siblings; Ralph Mills, Karen Mills, and Nella Mahoney.
Children; Brian Vadala, Bethani McCarley, and Jesse Vadala. Brian's family
includes wife; Brandy and daughter Abigail. Bethani's family includes husband JB,
sons; Ian, Sean, and Levi. Daughter; Shanna. Jesse's family includes fiance;
Tara. In addition, she recently became a great grandmother to three beautiful
girls; Olivia, Anna, and Charlotte McCarley. Nephews; Kevin Mills, Keith
Yzquierdo, Robert Mahoney, and Daniel Mahoney. Nieces: Kelly Thiel, Kerry Mills-Pharmer,
Susan Deierlein, Nicole Sullivan, Juliana Vadala, and Gracie Cierniak.
