Barbara Affuso, 85, of Marlboro entered into rest on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones. The daughter of the late Robert and Josephine (Elting) Milner. She was born November 27, 1936 in Newburgh, NY. Barbara married the love of her life, Dominic A. Affuso, on September 8th and together they shared 66 wonderful years. Barbara loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was an avid reader and gardener. She enjoyed painting and cooking, especially Sunday dinners for her family, and her glass of wine. She was the President and Co-owner of Affuso's Oil in Marlboro, NY. Survivors include her children, Ricky (Michelle) Affuso, Dominic R. (Jen) Affuso, Robyn Marquis, Jeffrey (Toby) Affuso, Beth (John) McNelis; grandchildren Erica (Billy) Affuso, Kayleigh (Nicolas) Bozzo, Lindsey Marquis, Kourtney (Eric) Cassalina, Mackenzie McNelis, Kelsie (Michael) McNelis, Dominic H. Affuso, William McNelis, Luke Affuso, Dominic P. Affuso; great-grandchildren Ava and Aria Bozzo, Rowan Marquis, and Easton Cassalina along with many other cherished family members. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Robert Milner, her brother-in-law William Cambra and sister-in- law Camille Affuso, and grandson John David McNelis. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16 from 4-7p.m. at The DiDonato Funeral Home, 1290 Rt 9W, Marlboro, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 17 at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10am. Entombment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 5468 Route 9W Newburgh, NY.
