Dr. Franklin Fiedelholtz - Class of 1955

      Dr. Franklin Fiedelholtz of Aventura, Florida - Dr. Franklin Fiedelholtz died on Sept. 3, 2022. He was a doctor for more than 50 years specializing in cardiology. The majority of his time was spent in South Florida and he built special bonds with his patients and their families over many decades. He treated people, not just illness and disease. He was married to Audrey Vicky Yates Fiedelholtz for 50 plus years. Dr. Fiedelholtz is survived by three children Peter (Liisa), Ellen (Michael) and Sara along with five grand-children. Dr. Fiedelholtz was born in New York City and grew up in Newburgh, New York. He attended Union College in Schenectady, New York and went to Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. He also did a fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. Donations in his honor can be made to Temple Shir Shalom in Woodstock, Vermont. Vermont was a place Dr. Fiedelholtz loved. Quechee, Vermont was often the backdrop for family gatherings and events over the 45 years that he and his wife owned property there. - October 22, 1937 - September 3, 2022
