Marjorie Bose passed away in Highland, NY on October 30, 2022. Born in Cornwall, NY on November 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Florence (Meyer) Heitmuller. She attended school in the Bronx, and was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and also attended Rider College. Marjorie was the widow of Ira Bose, whom she married on June 16, 1957 at Christ Lutheran Church, where she was a parishioner. Marge was a member of the Town of Newburgh Lioness Club and the Town of Newburgh LL Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Bose; daughter, Jill Classey and her husband, Scott; her grandchildren, Jason Bose and his wife, Caitlyn, and Will Classey; her great-grandson, Jackson Bose; her sister, Marion Dunning; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Thursday, November 3 from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Friday, November 4 at 11 AM, followed by burial at Wallkill Valley Cemetery, Walden, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Christ Lutheran Church.
