Constance “Connie” Marie Paglialunga Melvin - Class of 1967
Connie Paglialunga Melvin, passed away 11/4/2022. She was married Jake Melvin in Fayetteville, NC. She was Class of 1967 at NFA. She met Jake while he was in the Marines. They were married 56 years. I thought I would let people know of Connie's passing. She was from Newburgh, NY. R.I.P. Connie.

Mrs. Constance “Connie” Marie Paglialunga Melvin, 73 went to be with the Lord on
Friday, November 4, 2022 at UNC Johnston Health Hospital. Funeral service will
be held at 2pm Wednesday, November 9 at Salem United Methodist Church,
officiating will be Rev. Gil Wise and Dr. Elton Hendricks. Burial will follow in
the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Tuesday, November 8 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. She is preceded in death
by her parents, Andrew Constantine Paglialunga and Estelle Rose Bach
Paglialunga. Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother,
and sister who will be truly missed by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish
her memory, her husband, John “Jake” Curtis Melvin, Sr. of the home; son, John
“Jake” Curtis Melvin, Jr. of the home; daughters, Rebecca Melvin & fiance’,
Steven Dungan of Eastover, and Pauline Melvin of Wade; brother, Donald J.
Parrone of Newburgh, NY; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Services
entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
