Matthew C. Belfiore, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into
rest on Monday, November 28, 2022. He was 57. Son of the
late Charles and Ruth (Conklin) Belfiore, he was born May
19, 1965 in Bronx, NY. A lifelong area resident, "Matt" as
he was known to family and friends was a Manager for Dollar
General, Kingston, NY. A 1983 graduate of the Newburgh Free
Academy, he enjoyed woodworking and was a Yankee fanatic.
Survivors include a daughter, Ashleigh (Brian) Hernandez of
CO; a brother, Wayne C. ( Lillian) Belfiore of the Town of
Newburgh; two sisters, Kim B. (Thomas F., III) Kavanagh of
the Town of Newburgh and Karen B. (Richard) Garzon of
Denstable, MA; one granddaughter, Mckenzie Hernandez; many
nieces and nephews; and good friends, TJ Murphy and Linda
Natural. Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill
Crematory. Memorial Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00
pm on Friday, December 2, 2022 at White, Venuto and Morrill
Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh,
NY 12550. A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 pm at the
Funeral Home. Donations in Matthew's memory can be made to
