Mary M. Stanford Baxter, a devoted wife, mother and lifelong resident of New Windsor, NY, entered peacefully into eternal rest, on Sunday November 27, 2022 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital Newburgh surrounded by her family. Mary was born on March 25, 1954 to the late Leroy and Rose Stanford. They enjoyed vacations in Lake George and were both former members of the New Windsor Fire Department. She would then be an employee of Caldor's for over 20 years until there closing. She then moved to work at Midway Market and Deli for over 20 years, faithfully serving customers with a friendly attitude and a smile until her forced retirement due to breast cancer. She is predeceased by her parents Leroy and Rose Stanford and husband Daniel, she is survived by her 3 sons Chris, Scott and Sean, brother-in-law David of Florida and brother Walt of Virginia and countless cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family would also like to thank all the doctors and nurses at Crystal Run on route 300 in Newburgh and at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh for the amazing care they all showed her over the last few years.
