George M. Sarvis Jr., a lifelong resident of Newburgh
entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 25, 2022. He
was 90 years old. Son of the late George M. Sarvis and Anna
R. Kuprych Sarvis. George was a lifelong member and usher at
St. Mary's Church in Newburgh. He worked for Sunshine
Biscuit Company for 41 years, as he proudly followed in the
footsteps of his beloved father. He also worked at the
family business; Kuprych Bros. Vending. George devoted his
life to his family and his home. His kindness, humor and
love of life will be missed by all. He is survived by wife
Caroline Crudele Sarvis of 67 years, son, James Sarvis,
daughter, Marianne Sarvis, daughter-in-law, Debbie Sarvis,
granddaughters, Jenna Sarvis, Mallory Sarvis and great
grandson, Kayden, brothers, Stephen Sarvis (Julia), Billy
Sarvis (Nancy), sister, Ellen Lander (Ronnie), many cousins,
nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his beloved son,
George M. Sarvis III, sister, Marion Randall (Louis), and
brother, Frederick Sarvis. Services will be private as
requested by the family.
