Michael K Westfall - Class of 1988
Visitation will be held Friday, January 6 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh on Saturday, January 7 at 10:00 a.m. with a burial following at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Middle Hope. Michael (Mike) K. Westfall, 52 of Newburgh, NY, passed away
on January 1, 2023 after a short illness surrounded by his
loving family. Michael, son of the late Robert & Leslie
(Grant) Westfall, was born on June 4, 1970 in Newburgh, NY
where he was a lifelong resident. He attended Newburgh Free
Academy and worked for the IBEW Local 363 Electricians
Union. Mike was an avid hunter, fisherman, and dedicated
Dallas Cowboys and NY Mets fan. He also enjoyed classic cars
and attending classic car shows with his wife. Michael
leaves behind his wife Deborah (Cracchiolo) Westfall with
whom he married on June 17, 1995 and sons Michael (Janie)
& Ryan; sister Erin Westfall; mother-in-law Gloria
Cracchiolo; nieces and nephew: Carolyn, Christian &
Sydney; aunts and uncles: Patricia Crawford, Richard &
Caroline Grant, Thomas & Debra Grant, Virginia Grant and
Frederick Westfall; cousins: Christopher, Colleen, David,
Jessica, Julianne, Kellie, Kelly, Linda and Will; beloved
dog Logan and cat Shadow; and many friends whom he
considered family. He was predeceased by his maternal
grandparents Gordon & Margaret Grant, paternal
grandparents Mert & Violet Westfall, father-in-law
Salvatore Cracchiolo Sr., brother-in-law Salvatore
Cracchiolo Jr., and his beloved dog Indy.
