Vawn Tomer Ennest - Class of 1963 - Vawn's life can
be reflected in three songs: Song #1: "When you wish upon a
star". Vawn's wish was to marry the love of her life and
raise a family. Song #2: "Somewhere over the rainbow".
Everywhere she went was always a little better just by her
being there. At home, at school (she graduated from Newburgh
Free Academy in 1963), or at one of several jobs she held
before marrying Clark Ennest on October 8th, 1967. And the
third song was "All you need is love" by the Beatles. She
had an endless supply of it. She poured it out to her
                    husband and her three sons, Alan, Matthew and Joshua Ennest;
her daughter in laws Anita and Misty and her four
grandchildren Sophie, Phoenix, Lincoln and Maximus. Family
meant everything to Vawn and she loved her siblings Diane
Turner and her husband Richard, Alan Tomer and his wife
Dagmar and Bonnie Jannoti and her husband Tony. She was also
blessed with many nieces, nephews and friends (especially
her brothers and sisters in God at Hope Christian Church)
and would need reams of paper to list them all! Vawn fought
a warrior's fight against cancer for more than three years
and went for a much deserved rest with The Lord on December
27th. She passed peacefully in her sleep with her husband of
                    55 years at her side.
