Dr. George Langlitz, Jr., Chiropractic Physician, 76, passed
away suddenly on January 11, 2023 with his loyal Great Dane,
Torch. George was born on September 5, 1946 in Newburgh, New
York to the late George and Evelyn (McQuiston) Langlitz.
While attending high school, George worked at the Grand
Union grocery store where he met, and later married Sharon
Horaz. He then moved the family to Iowa to attend Palmer
Chiropractic College. After graduation, the family relocated
to Springfield, MA where George and Sharon established
Langlitz Chiropractic and he practiced for nearly 48 years.
All of his children continue his legacy in the field of
healthcare. George will be dearly missed by his beloved wife
of 55 years, Sharon L. Horaz, and their children: Dr. George
Langlitz III, Janine Kalin LMT, Dr. Michael Langlitz,
Patricia Langlitz LMT and his devoted pets: African Grey
Parrot, Birdie and dog, Lady. He also leaves his brother,
Raymond E. Langlitz, and grandchildren: Madisyn, Vanessa,
Christopher, Nicholas, Brennan, Alexander, Grace, and Evan.
Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in
George's memory can be made to the National Parks
