Barbara (Barb) L Hurd Nucifore passed away peacefully on
January 23rd, 2023 at 82 years old in Newburgh, NY. Barbara
is survived by her sons; Jeff and his wife Theresa, and Joel
and his wife Cheryl; her grandchildren Victoria, Anthony,
Dominic, Michael, Natalia, and Meeha. She's predeceased by
her mother and father Elizabeth and Robert Hurd; and her
husband Joseph Nucifore. Barbara was born on February 2nd,
1940 in Newburgh, NY. She graduated from Newburgh Free
Academy in 1958. A year later she married her late husband
Joseph Nucifore. Barbara was a devoted mother and
grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and
enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. She also was a
very spiritual person involved with the catholic church.
She'll be dearly missed by friends, family, and anyone who
knew her. A wake will be held on January 27th at Brooks
Funeral Home from 4-7 PM, with a service being held at 6:30.
