Diane Frederica Kay Brady, of the Town of Newburgh entered
into rest on Saturday, January 21, 2023. She was 79.
Daughter of the late Frederick and Bertha (Wheeler) Kay, she
was born on December 31, 1943, in Staten Island, NY. Diane,
a long-time area resident, was a retired secretary for the
main office at the Temple Hill Academy, New Windsor. She was
very close to her family and enjoyed Autumn, vacations,
gardening, music, and decorating for the holidays. Her
absolute favorite was time with her loved ones. Survivors
include two sons, Jeffrey A. Brady of Beacon and Christoper
J. (Cindy) Brady of Fort Lee, NJ; two daughters, Jennifer L.
(Phillip) Wisneski of the Town of Newburgh and Jessica
A.(Lamont Jackson) Townes of Marlboro; her former spouse,
Francis Brady, Jr.; six grandchildren, Christopher Brady,
Jr, Rachel Wisneski, Joshua Wisneski, Cheyanne Townes,
Jaiden Townes and Joel Wisneski; and one nephew, Stuart
Stillwaggon. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased
by a sister, Barbara Stillwaggon and brother-in-law, Carl
Stillwaggon "Our dear beloved Mom passed away ever so
peacefully, with her hands held and the words, "we love you,
Mom, it is okay to go." We could not have asked for a better
mother. We are missing her terribly. We will cherish and
honor our wonderful memories every day!" Private cremation
has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory. A Private Graveside
Service will be held at Wallkill Valley Cemetery. Donations
