Linda A. Ostrander, 80, died Sunday, January 22, 2023 at
Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh, NY. Linda was born
October 27, 1942, in Newburgh, NY. Linda was a baptized
minister of Jehovah's Witnesses. She loved her God Jehovah
and looked to the future when the earth would be a peaceful
Paradise. Linda attended the Culinary Institute of America
and was an excellent cook and baker. Linda also loved to
take pictures and was an excellent artist. Linda is survived
by her 3 sons: John Jr., William, Robert and wife Kelly;
grandchildren Joseph, Victoria, Theresa and Daniel; great
granddaughters Emmy and Lila and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her parents William and Lillian
McDowell; her 3 sisters; Jeannie, Barbara and Doris.
Cremation of the body will be privately attended to by the
family .
