Catherine Amelia Mary Donahue-Bellamy peacefully passed away
on January 16, 2023, at home, while surrounded by 3
generations of family. She was 72 years young. Catherine
(Trina) was born on April 21, 1950 in Newburgh, NY to Joseph
Benson Donahue and Catherine Dederick Donahue. She graduated
from Newburgh Free Academy in 1969. She married Robert
William Bellamy (divorced 2000) and gave birth to five
children. She graduated from Sullivan County Community
College in 1995 with a degree in paralegal. She was a lover
of reading, history, puzzles, gardening, cooking, and above
all else, family. She took great pride in having herself
surrounded by loved ones at all times and she was always
happy to share traditions. Cathy loved spending time with
her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved
watching them thrive and excel at sports, music, and
education. They made her proud everyday. She is survived by
her children, Brendan Bellamy, Erin (Claude) Boothe, Colleen
Magie, Evan (Loren) Bellamy, Caitlin (Andrew) Pacini, her
sister Hillary (Joe)Lahey, sister-in-law Roberta Sorenson,
brother-in-law David Stoudnour, 15 grandchildren, 4
great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Mary
Donahue-Stoudnour, and her brother Joseph K. Donahue.
