William "Fiend" Moran - Class of 1986
Visitation will be held Tuesday March 21 4-7pm at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A brief service will also be held at Brooks Funeral Home Wednesday March 22 at 11am, followed by a burial in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor. |
William "Fiend" Moran - of New Windsor, New York, known by
most as Fiend, passed away March 17, 2023 at home with his
family. He was 55. Son of the late William J. Moran and
Patricia Roche Moran, he was born April 6, 1967 in the
Bronx, NY. On September 15, 2001 he married Mary Esposito
Moran, who survives at home. Fiend was a plethora of things
to many people: a husband, brother, son, expert head banger,
the life of every party, a great friend, and the coolest
father ever. He will be deeply missed by everyone lucky
enough to know and love him. He graduated from Newburgh Free
Academy and was a Town of New Windsor Employee for nearly 20
years. Fiend is survived by his daughter Shannon Moran, wife
Mary Moran, mother Patricia Moran, and brothers Brian and
Matthew Moran. He was predeceased by his Jedi Master father
William J. Moran.
