Michael Scott Charles Kolpan, loving son, husband, brother,
uncle, grandson, and nephew, peacefully passed away on
Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the age of 39 as his Heavenly
Father awaits for him.
Michael was born on 3/15/1984, to Mitchell and Annette
Kolpan in New York. Michael spent his childhood and school
age in New Windsor, New York, where he enjoyed playing
baseball, football and soccer. Michael was also a graduate
of NFA high school in Newburgh, New York.
Michael was a beautiful person inside and out. He could
light up a room with his smile. Michael was full of love,
and had a beautiful soul. He had an amazing ability to
connect with people, he never met a stranger. One of
Michael's greatest joy was he was born on the same day as
his late beloved grandfather Ben. Michael also loved being a
little brother to Nicole, and a big brother to Kyle, Ashley,
Joseph, and Robert.
Michael left this earth way too soon and he will be missed,
but not forgotten.
Michael is survived by his wife, Abra; stepdaughter, Alyssa
Root; his parents Annette and John Istvan, Mitchell and
Lezlie Kolpan; grandmother, Pauline Kolpan; his siblings,
Nicole and Louis deOlde, Kyle Kolpan, Ashley Kolpan, Joseph
Istvan, Robert and Destinee Istvan ; one niece, four
nephews; and many loving uncles, aunts and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben
Kolpan, Charlie and Mae Sacca.
