Matthew Jon Crawford, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into
rest on Tuesday, March 25, 2023. He was 55. Son of Adrienne
J. Crawford, he was born on January 15, 1968 in Newburgh,
NY. "Matt", as he was known to family and friends was a
lifelong area resident. He was a HVAC Technician who was
known as a "Jack of All Trades" and did work as an auto
mechanic and a tree arborist. In his spare time, throughout
his life, he enjoyed motor cross dirt bikes, go carts,
motorcycles and drag racing. Survivors include his mother,
Adrienne J. Crawford of the Town of Newburgh; two sons,
James Tyler of Modena, Cole Matthew Crawford of Walden;
three daughters, Adrienne M. Crawford of NC, J-den S.
Crawford and Bianca J. Crawford; and three grandchildren,
Nicholas Maverick, Lilah Grace, Santino Jace. Private
cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory. Plans for
a Celebration of Life for Matthew will be announced at a
later date.
