Adrienne (Riglioni) Torelli was born on July 16, 1943, in Newburgh to Lillian (Davis) and Joseph Riglioni. She spent her whole life in Newburgh. Adrienne (or "A" as she was known to most) met Carman Torelli in high school and they married on October 23, 1963. They would have celebrated their 60th anniversary later this year. Carman and Adrienne built a life at their home in the Town of Newburgh that they moved to in 1973 and where they raised their two son ”Michael (Maureen) and Christopher. A was a licensed cosmetologist who worked at a number of shops in the Newburgh area, ending her career at Overtones. Things that brought A joy: watching her sons play sports throughout their school years; SHOES; shopping with her sister (especially for a great sale!); summer vacations to LBI and Rhode Island; time spent with family and friends in person or on the phone; holidays--especially Christmas Eve and the Feast of the Seven Fishes; a NY Yankees win; or, just sitting on the deck watching the hummingbirds at the family cabin in Andes, NY.
In addition to her husband and sons, Adrienne is survived by her brothers, Tony (Ginny) Riglioni and Joe (Sue) Riglioni; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews who adored their "Aunt A" and lifelong friend, Brenda Thom. She was predeceased by her sister, Adonna Raab, her sister-in-law, Ernestine Anderson, and her brothers in law, Jim Raab and Donald Anderson.

Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1st from 4-7pm at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 22 Glenmere Avenue, Florida, NY 10921.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Valley View Glenmere Ground and Hospice of Orange & Sullivan for the kindnesses shown to A.
