Rudolph Neuss - Class of 1971

Rudolph R. Neuss passed away on June 2, 2023, in Kingston,
NY.
Born May 23rd, 1953, Rudolph Neuss was a graduate of
Newburgh Free Academy, Class of 1971. After high school,
Rudy moved to New Paltz, NY where his parents Charlotte and
Joe Biasi owned and operated The New Paltz Liquor Store
until 1984. Rudy quickly became a prominent member of the
town and worked at The Thesis from 1973-1977 and was partner
in ownership of Speakers from 1977 until 1980.
After studying civil engineering at Cornell University, Rudy
joined Sieminski Construction in Bergen County, NJ as a
Project Manager. He then went on to start his own company,
Neuss Construction, in 1994. He served as a general
contractor for public sector infrastructure projects for the
US Federal Highway Administration, US Department of the
Army, NYS Department of Transportation & NYS Office of
General Services among many others until 2005. Notable
projects include the Chadwick Lake Dam and the Gomez Mill
House in the Town of Newburgh.
Following his ventures in the States, Rudy relocated to St.
Maarten where he served as Managing Director of Pointe
Esprit Development, a Neuss family business, and was
instrumental in developing raw land and other related
dealings on the island.
He is survived by his wife Eugienia Pemberton-Neuss of St.
Maarten, Netherlands Antilles, his daughter Annilee Neuss of
Newburgh, NY, sister Andrea Giordano of Tinton Falls, NJ,
brother Carl and his wife Elaine Neuss of Laguna Hills,
Calif. as well as his nephews Andrew Cerullo and Alex Neuss,
and nieces Carla and Rebecca Neuss. Rudolph was preceded in
death by his parents Charlotte and Joseph Biasi, Rudolph A.
Neuss, and his devoted Aunt, Jane Bayne. - May 23, 1953 ~
June 2, 2023
A visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on
Saturday, June 10th from 2-5pm for friends and family to pay
their respects, with prayer and remarks for those who wish
to share at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in
Rudy's honor to a charity of your choice. Charities close to
his heart are Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Tunnel
to Towers Foundation.
