Sharon Lee Rose Alpaugh, of Montgomery, entered into rest on
Friday, August 11, 2023. She was 64. Daughter of the late
Kenneth and Shirley (Wayman) Rose, she was born on February
24, 1959 in Newburgh, NY. Sharon was a school bus driver for
Visconti Bus Service for 27 years. A lifelong area resident
she was a member of the Church of Good Shepherd. She had
artistic ability and enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending
time with family. She also had a love for animals,
especially Pitbulls. Survivors include her husband, Clarence
L. Alpaugh; a daughter, Marica Strang; two granddaughters;
two great granddaughters; a sister, Darlene S. Diehl; and
many nieces and nephews. Private cremation and services will
be at the convenience of the family. Donations in Sharon's
memory can be made to the Newburgh Animal Shelter, 645
Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY 12550.
