Patsy Jack D'Errico - Class of 1972

  Patsy Jack D'Errico, 69 of NP NY, passed away on 7/30 in Poughkeepsie NY. Patsy was born on March 15, 1954 in Amsterdam, NY. He is the son of the late Jack D’Errico and Rose Capach. He was predeceased by his sister Chrissy and Grandson Troy. He grew up in Newburgh and attended Newburgh Free Academy. He later worked many years for Laborers Local 1000, Poughkeepsie. Patsy was proud of his Italian heritage and always shared fond memories of his childhood spending time with his grandparents, Pasquale and Susie and his six Aunts. Patsy enjoyed camping, fishing, body building and the outdoors. He loved driving his Mustang and his Harley Davidson attending bike week in Lake George and Daytona with his friends. He was a true brother to his friends Daryl, Joe, Gil, Chris and George. He cherished time spent with his family, and recently became a proud great grandfather. His children and his grandchildren where the apple of his eye. He lit up a room with his handsome good looks, blue eyes and genuine good nature. He will be missed by everyone. Ride high, Patsy. We all love you to bits and pieces and will carry you in our hearts every day. Rest in paradise with endless love. He is survived by his Loving wife: Sharon D'Errico, His two daughters: Tina D'Errico of La Grange NY, and Monique D'Errico of FL, his two sisters: Linda (Jimmy) Bates of Cornwall NY, and Carol (Chuck) Gress of GA, his grandchildren, Corrina, Louie, and Josh, and his Great Grandchilden, Vincent and Gabriel. He is also survived by his Sister-in-Law, Patricia (Thomas) Schmidt of Kingston, NY, and Mother-in-Law, Lorraine Murphy of Rhinebeck, NY, and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Stella D'Errico.

               There will be a visitation held at the Copeland-Hammerl Funeral Home located at 162 S. Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, NY 12528 on Friday August 4th from 10:00am to 11:30am. This will be followed by a service at11:30am at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rosendale Plains Cemetery located at 793 Springtown Road Tilson, NY 12486 after.
