Anthony Hilinski - Class of 1967

       Anthony Leslie Hilinski, age 74, of New Windsor, New York passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. He was born in Rhinebeck, New York on February 1, 1949 to Anthony and Alice (Sheldon) Hilinski. Anthony did some community college studies at (formerly) Harriman Community College and graduated from Newburgh Free Academy High School.

He was married to Susan Renee Hilinski on November 25, 1979. Anthony had a civilian career as the branch manager of a local bank, TD Bank North (Formerly Bank of the Hudson/Hudson United Bank) and served as a Captain in the United States Army. He served as a Marine earlier in his military career, as well, and retired from the National Guard.

Anthony was a member of the Rolling Thunder and an alumnus of the Fighting 69th Infantry. He had a passion for history, particularly military history and was an avid sports fan.

Anthony is survived by his children Jeremy and Michael Hilinski along with three grandchildren, Anna (11), Julia (8) and Emilia Hilinski (8 months). His brother, Joseph Hilinski, passed away this month as well http://www.nfayearbooks.com/mboard3/msg/6094.html

Visitation will be on Friday September 1, from 3-7 pm at David T Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, New York. Burial will take place on Friday September 8th, 12:00 noon at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, New York with U.S.M.C Honors.
