Lorraine Lester Gadbois - Class of 1958
Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh, NY 12550. A Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the Funeral Home. Lorraine J. Lester Gadbois, of New Windsor entered
into rest on Saturday, September, 2, 2023. She was 82.
Daughter of the late Ronald K. and Lena T. (Parsio)
Spillane, she was born on November 14, 1940 in Newburgh.
Lorraine was a graduate of both the Newburgh Free Academy
and the Krissler Business School. She was a retired customer
service representative with Marshall and Sterling Insurance,
New Windsor, and formerly of Shipp & Osborn. A
parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Patrick's
Church, Newburgh. She enjoyed spending time with family,
playing scrabble, solving crossword puzzles daily and bingo,
and never missed her afternoon soap operas. She is survived
by two sons, Glen (Cheryl Treco) Gadbois of New Windsor and
John (Joanne Esposito) Gadbois of Stockholm, NJ; one
grandchild, John Ryan Gadbois, and several nieces and
nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by
a brother, Ronald K. Lester, Jr.
