Audrey Woodward Stone - Class of 1968

Audrey Woodward Stone passed away on Friday September 15th
after living with Parkinson's Disease for many years. Audrey
Stone (nee Woodward) was born in 1950 in Bellingham,
Washington. As the daughter of a Methodist minister, she
moved frequently with her family and had fond memories of
living in Washington state, New Jersey, and upstate New
York. She attended SUNY Geneseo, where she received an
education degree. She taught elementary school for six years
in Western New York, then got a job as an insurance agent
with New York Life. She stayed with New York Life as a
successful Chartered Life Underwriter and manager for
twenty-six years. She also attained two master’s degrees
in finance. Audrey moved to Naples in 1996, where she met
and later married Jerry in 1999. Together, they enjoyed
golfing, traveling, and spending time with family. Audrey
was also a talented seamstress and quilter. Audrey loved
living in Naples, where she has always been surrounded by
friends and family. Audrey was preceded in death by her
parents Paul and Edna Woodward and her infant son Sean.
Audrey is survived by her husband Jerry Stone; her siblings
Wesley Woodward, Stanley Woodward, and Beverly Thibault; her
daughter Shannon Dolan and son-in-law Josh Stenger; her
stepchildren Martha Kriek, Bob Stone (Debbie), Dr. Sue Stone
(Brian), Rick Stone, and Andy Stone; and her grandchildren
Matthew Park, Barbara Park, Hollie Stone, Jenesis Stone,
Riley Stone, Parker Stone, Havyn Stone, Kyah Stone, and
Cheyene Stone; and a lifetime of dear friends.
