Woman killed, two injured in collision
A head-on collision Wednesday night left one New Windsor woman dead and two others injured. State Police said that at around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, Mirian Diaz was traveling east on Route 207 in her 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara when she failed to negotiate a curve, crossed into the westbound lane and struck an oncoming 2000 Ford Expedition driven by Joan White. The crash happened in the vicinity of the Drury Lane intersection. Diaz, White, and Gina O'Neil, a passenger in White's vehicle, were all taken to the Newburgh campus of St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital by Mobile Life Support Services.
