on 04/Oct/2023 Dearon O'Neil Mitchell Sr., of Brooklyn, employee of Blue Bird Furniture Store in Queens, died Sunday December 19, 2004 in Brookdale Hospital, Brooklyn. He was 39. The son of Aubrey Mitchell and the late Timecia Stewart, he was born February 23, 1965 in Fort Dix, N.J. Survivors include his loving father, Aubrey Mitchell Sr. of Newburgh; loving and devoted wife Brenda Taylor at home; three sons, Dearon O'Neil Mitchell Jr. of Fountain, Colo., Raymond and Dontae Mitchell both of Brooklyn; one daughter Ashley Randolph of Wooster, Mass.; two brothers, Aubrey Mitchell Jr. and wife Malinda of New Windsor and Yorick Kemp of Newark, N.J.; several nieces, nephews, uncles and many friends. Visitation will be held Friday, December 24 from 12 to 1 p.m. at House of Refuge Church of God in Christ, 127-131 Broadway, Newburgh. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Elder Jeffery Woody will officiate. Interment will be held on Monday, December 27 at 9 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Middlehope. Rhodes Funeral Home, 259 Walsh Ave., New Windsor, entrusted with arrangements.
