Richard Reynolds - Class of 1957

    Richard J. Reynolds, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, coming from Kinderhook, NY, a native of Newburgh, NY entered into rest on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. He was 84. Son of the late Arthur M. and Virginia T. (Felton) Reynolds, he was born December 2, 1938 in Cornwall, NY. Richard was a retired Tool and Dye Maker with the Department of Engineering and Computer Science, USMA West Point, NY. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying both hunting and fishing. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and the North American Hunting Club, and a member of Black Rock Fish and Game Club, Bethlehem Rod and Gun Club, Glencadia Rod and Gun Club and the Remington Sportsmen's Club, West Point Pistol Team, American Reloaders Association and NYS Rifle and Pistol Association. He was also a member of the Hudson River Lodge No. 309, F. & A.M., Past Master of Valatie Lodge No. 362 F. & A. M., Kinderhook, NY and a member of Royal Arch Mason, Highland Chapter No. 52 R.A.M. Grand Chapter of N.Y.S. Survivors include his wife, Judy M. Reynolds, of Cornwall on Hudson; a son, Frank (Penny) Reynolds of Cheboygan, Michigan; two daughters, Cassandra (Greg) McCann of West Harrison, NY and Cheryl (John) Buescher of Cornwall-on-Hudson; one sister, Joan Paglialunga of Smithtown, NY and her daughter Dawn McDermott, also of Smithtown, NY; five grandchildren, Connor, Elena, Katherine, Christopher, Evelyn; and Richard's two cousins, Lorraine Cross and Charlotte Scott.
                Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh, NY 12550. A Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Donations in Richards memory can be made to either Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh, or Hospice of Orange and Sullivan at www.hospiceoforange.com
