Wynn A. Hyzer, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on
Thursday, October 5, 2023. He was 69. Son of the Janette
(Perrier) Hyzer and the late Robert W. Hyzer, he was born
March 7, 1954 in Newburgh, NY. A lifelong area resident,
Wynn was a graduate of Columbia University. In the earlier
years Wynn worked as a Lab Technician with American Felt and
Filter, New Windsor. He was an avid reader and possessed a
photographic memory. Survivors include his mother, of the
Town of Newburgh; a sister, Dawn L. Crumpler of Newburgh; a
niece, Megan Osborne; and a nephew, Robert Crumpler. In
addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother in
law, Percel Crumpler. Cremation and all Services will be
private and at the convenience of the family.
