Ronald Cobbs - Class of 2007
A ceremony to celebrate Ronald's life will be held on October 12 at 10:15am at H. Griner Funeral Home, located at 186 GA-279 Fayetteville, GA 30214. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charitable organization of your choice. Ronald will be laid to rest at H. Griner Funeral Home on October 12 at 10:15am. Ronald Cobbs Jr., 34, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on
September 8, 2023. He was born on December 6, 1988. Ronald
was a smart, protective, and handsome young man. He
graduated from Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, NY, class
of 2007. He continued his education at Florida Career
College/Turner Job Corp. in 2013, majoring in Basic/Advanced
Cement Masonry. Ronald was awarded certification for the
Dean's list with a GPA of 4.0 and received a trophy for a
level 2 in Spanish. He worked for Nike and Tiger Direct
earlier in his life. Ronald will be dearly missed and is
survived by his father, Ronald Cobbs Sr. (Baltimore, MD),
his sisters Ramona Cobbs (Union City, GA), Rachel Cobbs
(Newburgh, NY), Bria Tanner (Baltimore, MD), 4 nephews, 1
niece, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was
preceded in death by his mother, Vida Cobbs.
