Peter Mullarkey - Class of 1975

Peter Jay Mullarkey (Pete) from New Windsor, NY entered into
rest on November 15, 2023 with his family by his side. Pete
was born August 1, 1956 in Newburgh, NY to Jack and Patricia
Y. Mullarkey, where he was raised with his three brothers.
He graduated Newburgh Free Academy in 1975. Pete married the
love of his life, Elizabeth (Lisa) on September 16, 1984. He
was employed with the Town of New Windsor as a heavy
equipment operator for 33 years. Pete was an avid sports
fan, his favorite players were his grandchildren. Pete
enjoyed watching the ponies and visited Saratoga Race Track
yearly. He loved fishing and his trips to the Jersey shore,
especially Wildwood Crest with his family and friends. His
favorite place was the Newburgh water front (mainly Captain
Jake's) where he’d sit with his friends enjoying some cold
ones. Pete is survived by his wife Lisa Mullarkey, his
children Kevin Mullarkey, Peter (Danielle) Mullarkey,
Kristin (Shawn) Mulligan, Jason (Christine) Mullarkey and
Jake Mullarkey, Grandchildren: Elijah, Payton, Cole, Kelsey,
Parker, Shawn (SP), Sadie, Evie, Shay and Jack, his mother
Patricia and two brothers John and Timothy, as well as,
several nieces, nephews and many friends! He was predeceased
by his father, Jack and brother Daniel, his in-laws Fred and
Jane Schaefer, and many aunts and uncles. |
