Angelina Giordano Bloomer - Class of 1953

    Angelina Shirley GiordanoBloomer (Angie), a life-long resident of Newburgh, NY, passed away on December 11, 2023 with the prayers and support of her loving family and friends. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose F. Giordano. Angie married the love of her life, Roland J. Bloomer (Ron) on April 15, 1956 at Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh, NY. Angie and Ron worked very closely throughout their lives to raise their family and establish their business enterprises. They created their businesses Angie Clothing Company and The Cloak Room. Angie was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. She was actively involved in her community. Angie was a past President and Corresponding Secretary of Federated Garden Club of New York State She was also a member of Trestle Inc. and Circolo Cattolico Italiano. She was the owner of Angie Clothing Co., The Cloak Room, and The Pleasant Pheasant. Angie also worked as a Realtor for many years at Kahn Realty and John J. Lease Realty. She is survived by her beloved children Roland (Lynn) Bloomer and Frank (Stephanie) Bloomer; her siblings Victoria (Mike) Palkovic, Anthony (Rose) Giordano; her great grandchildren: Roland & (Dena) Bloomer, Kristofer & (Lorella) Bloomer, Bradley & (Kristyn) Bloomer, Steven & (Lindsey) and Brianna & (Rick) Eaton; great grand-children Ayva, Sienna, Ella, Ruby and Nolan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Angie will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
          A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 301 Ann Street, Newburgh, at 10 AM on Friday December 15, 2023. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 5468 Rt 9W, Newburgh. In lieu of flower the family request that donations be sent in Angie's name to St. Jude's Children Foundation www.stjude.org or Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County- The Kaplan Residence. - August 26, 1935 ~ December 11, 2023
