Robert L. Bradley - Class of 1961

Robert L. Bradley (Bob) of Newburgh, NY passed away on
December 27 at St. Luke's Hospital. Robert was born in
Newburgh on May 1, 1943 to the late Myron L. Bradley and
Madeleine E. Burhans. Bob was a loving husband, father,
grandfather, great-grandfather, and a good friend, who
enjoyed his children and grandchildren, and spent time with
Carol in the Prowler. He graduated from Newburgh Free
Academy in 1961, and had various work experiences which
began at Star Expansion, of Mountainville, E.I. DuPont, and
Frank's Body Shop, before joining IBM in 1966. He retired in
1996, after 30 years, and went on to work as a consultant
for Butler Technologies until 1998. He married Carol Hammond
on January 2, 1965 at St. Joseph's Church in New Windsor.
Bob is survived by his wife, Carol; his two sons, Gary L.
Bradley and his wife Deanette, of Newburgh, and Steven R.
Bradley, and his wife Dawn, of Bloomingburg; his six
grandchildren, Daniel Conklin, Shawn Weed, Brittany Bradley,
Eric Bradley and wife Emily Rose, Dylan Bradley, and Jessica
Bradley; his sisters, Joan March of Pennsylvania, Karen
Bruno and husband Gary of Newburgh; sister-in-law, Helen
Miller of Newburgh; sister-in-law, Jean StJohn and husband
Gary of Newburgh; brother-in-law Karl Hammond and wife Kathy
of Massachusetts; sister-in-law Mary Droney and husband Jim
of Wallkill; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and
cousins.
