Patricia Cole Fryer - Class of 1959

    Patricia Margaret (Cole) Fryer, 82, of Waterbury, CT, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Waterbury Hospital. Patricia was born in Newburgh, NY on January 21, 1941, a daughter of the late Denzil and Lucille Margaret (Clark) Cole. Before her retirement, she worked for the State of CT, Southbury Training School as a lead. She was recognized for her outstanding contributions to The Goodwill Lodge #325, Clark City Temple #895 and Beauty & Talent Department. She was a dedicated and generous member of the Zion Baptist Church. She loved traveling, reading mystery books and playing bingo.
          Patricia leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Jacquetta Purcell and her husband, Heaton of East Hartford, CT, Crystal Fryer of Decatur, GA, Deneen Fryer of Waterbury, CT, six grandchildren, Daryl McNeill, Samuel and Sharnice Cummings, Nicole, Patricia and Kariyana Fryer, three great grandchildren, DuRon, Natasia and Harmony McNeill and her former husband, Robert E. Fryer. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Robert William Fryer and sister, Dolores Cole.
          Arrangements: A calling hour for Patricia will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at The Zion Baptist Church, 137 Pearl St., Waterbury, CT from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Her funeral service will follow the calling hours at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 5468 Route 9W North, Newburgh, NY on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with her arrangements.
