Mary Alice Gallagher Roberts, beloved mother and
grandmother, passed away on March 16, 2024. She was 69.
Daughter of the late Eugene Patrick Sr. and Mary Gallagher,
Mary was born and raised in Highland Falls, NY, where she
had many fond memories growing up with her cousins. A
long-time resident of Newburgh, NY, Mary worked many years
for Pius XII Youth and Family Services, which eventually
became Catholic Charities, where she met many lifelong
friends. Mary loved spending time with her family at home
and at the beach. Mary was predeceased by her brother,
Eugene Patrick Gallagher, Jr. ("Paddy"). She is survived by
her husband, Thomas Roberts; daughter, Tara Goldman and
husband Jonathan; daughter, Colleen Bardi and Ryan Marsh;
son, Thomas Roberts; beloved grandchildren, Joseph, Patrick,
Michael, Daniel, and Angelina; sister, Joann Kroner and
husband Gregg and their daughters Rachel Kroner and Sandra
Colesanti; sister-In-Law, Kathy Tricarico; and many
wonderful in-laws, nieces, and nephews in the Roberts
Family. Mary is also survived by her many loving cousins in
Highland Falls and Newburgh, NY and in Northern Ireland.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am on
Monday, March 25, at St. Patrick's Church, 55 Grand St.,
Newburgh, NY. Burial will follow at Wallkill Valley
Cemetery, Walden, NY. - February 14, 1955 ~ March 16, 2024 -
