Joan Rampe Fogg - Class of 1956

Joan I. Fogg, of Montgomery, entered into rest on Sunday, April 7, 2024. She was 85. Daughter of the late Earl and Ruth (Homan) Rampe, she was born April 25, 1938 in East Hampton, NY. A long-time area resident, Joan was a homemaker, working after her children were grown as a District Manager for Hickory Farms. She loved cooking and was generous with her time as a volunteer. She was a member of the Maybrook Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, traveling, and camping in the Adirondacks, especially with her grandchildren. Joan was survived by three sons, Harold W. (Keri) Fogg, Jr., of Tampa, FL, James M. (Mary) Fogg of Ballston Spa, NY and Craig D. (Nancy) Fogg of Cumming, GA; a sister, Anita Harley, of Aiken, SC; a sister in law, Maryann Fogg of the Town of Newburgh; nine grandchildren, Bradley, Ashley, Margaret, Patrick, Kathleen, Brendan, Taylor, Sarah and Brian; three great grandchildren, Eleanor, Brooks and Caroline; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold W. Fogg in 2022; a brother, Earl Rampe, Jr.; and a sister, Shirley Burger. Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.

A Memorial Service will take place 11:00 am, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Maybrook United Methodist Church, 313 Homestead Avenue, Maybrook, NY 12543. In lieu of flowers donations in Joan’s memory can be made to the Maybrook United Methodist Church Building Fund at the above address.
