Kraig S. Genter, a lifelong Newburgh resident, entered into
rest on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He was 61. Son of the late
John and Anna (Pollock) Genter, he was born on February 5,
1963 in Newburgh, NY. Kraig was a retired custodian for the
United States Military Academy, West Point, NY. He was a
member of Moulton Memorial Baptist Church, Newburgh and
enjoyed cooking, quilting and crafts. Survivors include his
three brothers Kevin (JoAnn) Genter of Wallkill, NY, Keith
(Marilyn) Genter of Esopus, NY, and Kerry (Elaine) Genter,
of Asheville, NC. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews
and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to
celebrate Kraig's life will be held at Moulton Memorial
Baptist Church, 54 Old Little Britain Rd, Newburgh, NY on
Sunday, June 9th, 2024 at 2pm with a reception following.
