David John Owens, of Gardiner, NY entered into rest
Thursday, May 16, 2024. He was 81. Son of the late Clarence
and Constance (Nergelovic) Owens, he was born September 16,
1942 in Newburgh, NY. A lifelong area resident, David
proudly served his country proudly in the Army National
Guard. He was a retired draftsman for Delford Industries,
Middletown, NY. He was also a member of the Vails Gate
Church of Christ in New Windsor. Survivors include his wife,
Judy A. Owens; and a son, David Randolph Owens of
Huntington, WV.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother,
Peter T. Owens. Private cremation has taken place at Cedar
Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY. A memorial Service will be
1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 6, 2024 pm at Guyandotte Church of
Christ, 207 Staunton Street, Huntington, WV 25702. Interment
will follow at 2:00 pm at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens,
3547 US Route 60E, Barboursvill, WV 25504.
